The Truth about Mother’s Day
Science shows that the honor of being called “Mom” does not happen upon birth but upon conception. It’s scientifically proven that at the joining of the man and woman’s DNA there is a distinct life created with his or her own eye color, hair color, race, gender and so much more that is decided at this time. The women’s body sends out what is called the “early pregnancy factor” to let her body know not to expel this new life like it would a virus or bacteria but to keep this newly created life safe.
Her body is letting her know… it’s Mother’s Day and it started here.

During pregnancy, a mother carries her preborn baby inside her uterus, which is also known as the womb. The uterus is a pear-shaped organ located in the pelvis, specifically designed to accommodate the growth and development of the baby.
As the baby grows, the uterus expands to accommodate its increasing size.
Mom’s body is amazing!

Through the placenta, the mother supplies essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and proteins, necessary for the baby's growth and development.
Additionally, Mom also produces hormones during pregnancy that play a crucial role in the baby's growth and development, influencing various physiological processes.
Moms take such good care of their babies!

Science shows the bond between mother and baby begins before birth and continues to strengthen after delivery.
The mother establishes an emotional connection with her baby during pregnancy through activities like talking, singing, and bonding, which can positively impact the baby's emotional development.
The mother's emotional state can also influence the baby in utero. Stress hormones, for example, can pass through the placenta and affect the baby. On the other hand, positive emotions and interactions can promote a sense of security and well-being in the unborn child.
Moms truly are baby’s best friend!
-
The mother’s womb provides a protective barrier that shields the baby from external harm, such as infections and physical trauma.
Inside the womb, the baby is surrounded and protected by several layers including the amniotic sac. This sac contains amniotic fluid, which provides a cushioning effect, protecting the baby from external impacts.
Additionally, the mother's immune system helps protect the baby by passing on antibodies through the placenta, providing passive immunity until the baby's immune system develops.

Babies learn a lot from their mom while in the womb! Here are some ways mom is teaching baby:
♡ Language- Studies suggest that babies can begin to recognize and differentiate between languages and may even develop a language preference spoke by their mother or those around them!
♡ Sound Recognition- Babies can recognize and respond to sounds they hear in the womb, particularly mom’s voice (her rhythm and melody can help babies language development later on!).
♡ Taste Preference- Babies can experience different tastes based on what the mother eats through the amniotic fluid. Some research suggests that babies may develop preferences for certain flavors from mom!
♡ Rhythm and Music- Mothers who listen to music or sing during pregnancy may find that their babies respond to these sounds in utero. This exposure to rhythm and melody could potentially influence the baby’s later appreciation for music!
Mom is baby’s favorite teacher!

During pregnancy, the mother often makes various sacrifices to ensure the health and well-being of their baby. Here are some ways in which mothers may sacrifice for their babies in the womb:
♡ Dietary Sacrifices- Many mothers adjust their diets during pregnancy to provide optimal nutrition for their babies. This may involve giving up certain foods or beverages that are considered risky during pregnancy, such as alcohol, caffeine, raw fish and unpasteurized dairy products. Additionally, some mothers may experience food aversions or cravings and willingly modify their eating habits to accommodate their baby's needs.
♡ Lifestyle Changes- Mothers may need to make significant lifestyle changes during pregnancy to protect their babies. This can include giving up smoking, avoiding exposure to harmful chemicals or toxins, and refraining from activities that pose a risk to the baby's health, such as certain sports or extreme physical activities.
♡ Physical Discomfort and Pain- Pregnancy can be physically challenging, and mothers may experience discomfort, pain, and fatigue as their bodies undergo numerous changes to support the growing baby. Mothers often endure these discomforts without complaint, prioritizing the health and well-being of their babies above their own comfort. Mom‘s body is also incredibly adept at adapting to the changes necessary to support her baby. Her body was made to be a safe place for her baby to grow.
♡ Financial Sacrifices- Raising a child can be expensive, and mothers may make financial sacrifices during pregnancy to ensure that they can provide for their baby's needs. This may involve cutting back on discretionary spending, working extra hours to save money, or making long-term financial plans to support their growing family.
